Cleansing:  This is a basic skin care regime which needs to be followed by all skin types. Use a cleanser that opens up pores and control oil. Try to give your face a warm wash to help clean all the oil which is secreted from the glands. Wash your face two or three times a day and especially after being out in the sun for a long period of time. A face scrub is important twice a week to remove all the dead cells on the face and body. It is important to let the skin breath freely. This works in two ways, by giving you a refreshing feeling and also stopping the production of white heads and black heads.

Toning: The next step in the skin care tip is toning. The dirt and grime is washed off the body and the skin is all new and fresh. Use a mild toner to tighten up the skin and close the pores. Open pores act as a hole for dirt which can be trapped in it from the atmosphere. One absolutely wonderful toner comes in the form of rose water. Take some on a cotton swab and wipe if all over the face. Do this repeatedly twice or thrice a day. The smell is great and toned feeling is fabulous.

Moisturize:  Oily skin is excessive in its oil content, but that doesn’t mean you don’t need to moisturize it daily. Use water based moisturizing cream which will not be too heavy on the face. It is likely that rains will wash away the moisturizer; therefore it is important that you use an oil-based moisturizer which will not wash-off with water.

Face mask: The purpose of face masks is to refresh the skin, take away dead skin cells, help tighten up the skin and bring a glow upon the face. Instead of going for expensive store based face mask their mixing your own. Items in the kitchen like lemon, honey, oats, egg, milk, papaya, cucumber, aloe vera and curd are just a few names. Use them alone or in combination; your skin is going to love this treat.

Eat healthy: What you eat reflects in the healthiness of the skin. Avoid excessively oily food and too much of starch. Try to incorporate a good amount of fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. Water is important to give the skin the soft and supple texture. Have plenty of it.
